PrideStaff Job Description**Job Summary:**
PrideStaff is seeking an experienced Assembler for a Manufacturing company in Hemet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical assembly and electro-mechanical systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Perform mechanical assembly of electro-mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, mechanisms, and systems in accordance with production/engineering specifications, sketches, and/or verbal instructions.
Use tools and fixtures for detailed locating and positioning of parts.
Adjust, align, and tighten using an air vise, hand tools, pneumatic tools, and drill presses.
Keep track of inventory in the work area and notify the supervisor when material is needed.
Identify and replace or report defective sub-assemblies.
Conduct simple go-no-go testing.
Observe and follow all safety regulations and company policies.
**Additional Responsibilities:**
Operate a powered industrial truck (forklift) to load and unload material.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
Perform duties as assigned to ensure the success of projects, individuals, and the company.
**Requirements:**
High School or equivalent preferred.
2+ Years of experience in mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly.
**Skills and Competencies:**
Knowledge of basic assembly processes.
Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions, specifications, blueprints, or sketches.
Self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, upbeat, conscientious, transparent, and detailed.
Quality conscious with the ability to meet productivity goals.
Excellent communication skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
