Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel nursing job in a Critical Access Hospital.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns. Your expertise and experience will be invaluable in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Transport patients as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure
- Sensory - Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate
