Key Responsibilities:

+ Maintain a clean and secure work environment by utilizing all safety equipment and adhering to safety protocols.

+ Engage in oil sampling and implement corrective measures based on the analysis of samples.

+ Accurately label and tag reservoirs, machinery, inventory, and delivery containers.

+ Diagnose common lubrication-related equipment issues.

+ Manage inventory and oversee the routine ordering of lubricants.

+ Report any inconsistencies or conditions that necessitate corrective maintenance.

+ Complete mandatory quality core classes and apply the skills and techniques learned.

+ Participate in Quality Initiatives, continuously enhancing processes and quantitatively monitoring outcomes.

+ Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, which may involve extending lubrication lines, installing filter cart adapter kits on gearboxes and hydraulic units, and assessing and implementing automatic lubricators.

Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

+ 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a related field.

+ Knowledge of basic lubrication systems and contamination control principles.

+ Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a lift truck legally.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers for handling, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces, and communicate effectively. The employee may occasionally need to sit and must be able to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Regular use of close vision and color vision is required. The employee may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and potential electrical hazards. Work is typically conducted in a factory setting, which can be quite loud. The employee may encounter hazardous materials and/or slippery surfaces.
