We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic Accounts Payable and Accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity to support essential accounting operations while working in a collaborative environment where you can grow professionally.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and Monitor Accounts Payable Operations: Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor statements, invoices, and payments.
- Reconcile Vendor Statements: Verify accuracy between payables and receivables, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Generate Reports: Produce reports for internal teams and external clients, providing valuable insights into financial performance.
- Organize and Maintain Documents: Ensure accurate and timely submission of document packages for review and approval.
- Provide Support to the Accounting Team: Assist in resolving open items, and provide top-tier support to the Accounting team.
- Perform Clerical Duties: File, scan, fax, and distribute mail, as well as maintain accurate records.
- Support Month-End A/P Accruals: Assist with month-end accruals, and support internal and external audits.
- Assign Help Desk Tickets: Assign tickets to the accounting team for resolution, and collaborate with vendors and departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Maintain A/P Records: Maintain accurate and organized A/P records, with attention to detail.
- Routine Administrative Accounting Tasks: Perform routine administrative accounting tasks as needed, and take on special projects and other tasks as assigned to support the department.
- 1-2 Years of Accounts Payable or General Accounting Experience: Experience in high-volume environments is a plus.
- High School Diploma: Required (Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field is a plus).
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Time Management Skills: Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Both written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Professional and Team-Oriented Mindset: Ability to work independently when needed, and as part of a team.
