The Restorative Aide provides high-quality nursing care and services to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver restorative nursing care to residents, including range of motion exercises, transfers, and ambulation assistance.
- Conduct daily assessments and document resident progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with therapists to develop and implement restorative nursing goals and interventions.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies used for restorative programs.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families on restorative care and wellness.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and develop care plans.
- Assist with resident transfers, ambulation, and other activities of daily living as needed.
- Document all interactions and interventions in the resident's medical record.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the state.
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Ability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
