Licensed Practical Nursing Position

About the Job
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of an RN or Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) in the clinical setting, within the scope of practice dictated by the State Boards of Nursing.
Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, adhering to the level of verified competency dictated by the site specific program, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support and communicate effectively with other licensed independent practitioners (Physicians, NP, PA), and performing testing, medication administration and the implementation of nursing interventions and care plans.
You will also serve as a patient advocate in the prevention of illness or disease, meet any requirements defined by specific specialty, and maintain all certifications and licensure relevant to clinical practice setting.
This is a Monday-Friday day position 8-430, with no Holidays/weekends. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire, and de-escalation and physical intervention training may be required depending on the specialty.
