CT/MRI Manager Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our growing CT/MRI department at St. Barnabas. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our department administrative director, associate director, modality leaders, and medical chair to ensure high-quality care provision and efficiency within these two modalities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with department leaders to develop and implement strategies for quality care and efficiency.
  2. Education and Training: Ensure that all staff members have the necessary education and training to perform their duties effectively.
  3. Licensure and Certification: Verify that all staff members hold the required licenses and certifications, including NYS licensure as a radiologic technologist and advanced certification as a CT and/or MRI technologist.
  4. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure that our CT/MRI services meet the highest standards.

Requirements:

  1. High School graduate with a degree from an A.M.A-approved school for radiologic technology and advanced training in CT and MRI.
  2. Licensed in NYS as a radiologic technologist.
  3. Advanced certification as a CT and/or MRI technologist.
  4. Current ARRT(R) (CT) (MR) certification.
  5. Certified by NYS for contrast injections as required by the normal functions of the position.
