- Provide individual, group, and family counseling, promoting healthy relationships and coping mechanisms.
- Perform direct patient contact through individual or group counseling, fostering a supportive environment.
- Report patient abuse, neglect, and exploitation, upholding our commitment to patient safety.
- Report patient grievances, addressing concerns and promoting a positive patient experience.
- Educate patients on treatment, corresponding health issues, and steps to recovery, empowering them to take control of their lives.
- Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification, ensuring accurate patient data.
- Assist in monitoring patient activities on center premises, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Participate in community relations activities, promoting New Season's mission and values.
- Ensure compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA), upholding patient confidentiality.
- Maintain proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements, ensuring professional competence.
- Participate in preparation for surveys and inspections, upholding New Season's commitment to quality care.
- Attend all staff meetings, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with local, State, Federal, and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations, and policies, upholding New Season's standards.
- Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Master's degree in a related field, such as counseling or psychology.
- Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred, but not required.
- Experience Required:
- Minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse, demonstrating a strong foundation in counseling and treatment.
- Skill and Ability:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable and reliable, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Basic mathematics skills, accurately documenting patient data and managing center resources.
