About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin, supporting the operations and maintenance of large-scale RF Communications systems. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing shift support, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting complex hardware-software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operations and maintenance shift support for large, integrated, complex hardware-software communications systems.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across multiple external interfaces over a robust multi-tiered network.
  • Direct interaction with ops customer and mission partners to provide technical assessment and operational work-around recommendations.
  • Participate in corrective maintenance, including remove/replace, repair, and testing of failed hardware.
  • Assist in development of troubleshooting/recovery plans and execution of associated management and customer briefs.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of RF communications antennas and networks, IT systems, and real-time software applications supporting communications systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Leadership experience on small maintenance teams, with a proven track record of success.
  • Information Technology experience with an IAT level 1 certification, and knowledge of varied test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum/link/network analyzers, power meters, and signal generation equipment.
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant, professional experience, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration. The clearance level required is TS/SCI w/Poly.
