We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our team at Williamson Health in Franklin, Tennessee. About the Role

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. As an Oncology Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and planning patient care in a timely and effective manner. This role emphasizes a commitment to compassionate care and continuous professional development, ensuring both technical skills and interpersonal relationships are maintained with patients and team members. You must possess nursing qualifications, adhere to various certifications, and demonstrate a dedication to culturally competent healthcare delivery.

To succeed in this role, you will need to meet specific requirements. Formal education/training includes earning a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university, being licensed in the State of Tennessee, and obtaining BLS within 90 days of hire. For certain units, additional certifications may be required, such as Basic arrhythmia, ACLS, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), ONS chemo/immunotherapy, TNCC, PALS, and ENPC or TNCC within 6 months of hire.

Your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive assessments on all patients, planning individualized care, handling/transports/stores/prepares/administers medications/solutions safely, documenting accurately and timely, and accepting charge responsibilities. You will also facilitate staff development, maintain a healing and therapeutic environment, and demonstrate responsibility for assigned communications and special assignments.
