Occupational Therapist Role for Student Development

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled School Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services to students within local educational settings.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years occupational therapy experience and be proficient in conducting assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute personalized treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, visual perception, sensory integration, and self-care activities.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and fellow professionals to align therapy objectives with the educational curriculum.
  • Offer direct therapy services to students through individual and group sessions.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expertise to support students' requirements.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Possess a valid State of Washington OT license.
  • Demonstrate a passion for working with children to enhance their functional skills and independence.
