Position Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, varying nights
  • No Supervisory Responsibilities

Role Overview:

The primary objective of our nursing team members is to deliver exceptional patient experiences while providing professional nursing services across various inpatient and outpatient environments. The Registered Nurse (RN) employs the nursing process, which encompasses patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care provided. The RN collaborates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to offer both physical and emotional support to patients and their families, all while adhering to hospital policies and nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:

  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NC.
  • Current BLS Certification is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  9. Educate patients on illness and promote health maintenance.
  10. Uphold confidentiality of patient records.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  12. Conduct comprehensive assessments and reassessments for all age groups.
  13. Engage professionally with patients and families, providing reassurance.
  14. Develop and update individualized care plans for each patient.
  15. Act as a patient advocate.
  16. Comply with established protocols and policies.
  17. Document all nursing care accurately and promptly.
  18. Maintain professional communication with all hospital staff and visitors.
  19. Demonstrate flexibility and organization in high-pressure situations.
  20. Exhibit professionalism and respect towards all individuals.
  21. Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members.
  22. Engage in special assignments and quality improvement initiatives.
