Job Title: NDT Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented NDT Assistant to join our team at Mistras Group Inc. - Services. As an NDT Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our industrial radiography team in various industries, including power generation, nuclear power, production/fabrication, petrochemical refining, chemical processing, aerospace, and pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in performing non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures using various techniques, including radiography.
  • Provide support to senior technicians in the field and shop.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment and facilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 40hr Radiation Safety Course Preferred
  • IRRSP card preferred.
  • Previous NDT experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice work assignments.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred.
  • Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures.
  • Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing schedule.
