We are seeking a skilled Residential Building Services Technician to join our team at Seven Hills Foundation. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the upkeep of our buildings, equipment, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance and servicing operations throughout the facility, including plumbing, basic electric work, painting, carpentry, snow removal, and preventive maintenance.
- Respond to urgent situations on a rotating on-call basis.
- Work under the general supervision and direction of the Director of Building Services to maintain buildings, equipment, fixtures, and grounds in proper appearance and operating condition.
- Competitive pay rate of $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Opportunity for overtime pay.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and tuition reimbursement.
- Generous vacation time and paid holidays.
- Accrued paid sick time.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
- Three to five years of progressively more responsible duties in the building maintenance trades preferred.
- Good analytical and judgment skills, with ability to problem-solve and work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Massachusetts building, plumbing, and electrical codes desired.
