Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Sales Associate to join our team at TJ Maxx in Harpers Station. As a Seasonal Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the growth of your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and embodying customer experience principles and philosophy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
  • Support the growth of your career by cross-training to work in multiple areas of the store and participating in store recovery as needed.
  • Process customer purchases and returns accurately, counting change back to customers according to established operating procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs, and maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and procedures.
  • Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed, and maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor.
Requirements
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
  • Have strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail, and be capable of multi-tasking.
  • Be able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations, and work effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Possess a retail customer experience, and be capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.

We offer a competitive starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, and a range of benefits including associate discount, EAP, smoking cessation, bereavement, 401(k) associate contributions, and more. Contact your TJX representative for more information.
