Environmental Geologist

Stantec is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Geologist to join our team in Roseville, California. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will be responsible for providing field and technical support services on various projects related to environmental assessments, waste management, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and document field data collection activities
- Assist in the completion of project-level work, including daily timesheets and work plans, data management, and report preparation
- Conduct environmental sampling, including soil, groundwater, soil vapor, ambient air, surface water, and wastewater
- Prepare health and safety documents and participate in client health and safety meetings
- Prepare daily summary emails and site diagrams, and submit reports to online reporting systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in earth science, geology, natural or environmental science, or engineering from an accredited college
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour annual certification
- 10-hour OSHA Construction training is beneficial but not required
- Current certification as a CAC or CSST is beneficial but not required
- QSP certification is beneficial but not required
