Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Medicine Physician to join our team at Agile Occupational Medicine. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for leading our medical team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and responsible occupational healthcare to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead a team of clinicians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care and services
    • Develop and implement medical policies and programs to ensure compliance with Agile's policies and procedures
    • Collaborate with medical leadership to identify and implement changes to improve clinical outcomes and efficiency
  • Patient Care
    • Provide direct patient care, leading by example and enhancing processes and procedures to minimize visit times
    • Ensure day-to-day execution as the Primary Treating Physician (PTP) for all injuries, collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and expedite case closure
  • Staff Development and Management
    • Manage clinicians and support staff, ensuring compliance with all supervisory physician requirements for PA/NPs
    • Create a professional and collaborative working environment that promotes teamwork, quality, exceptional outcomes, and patient safety
  • Compliance and Quality
    • Ensure compliance with individual State Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations
    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous clinical improvement and efficiency
Requirements
  • Education and Credentials
    • Graduate of an accredited medical program with a M.D. or D.O. with an unrestricted medical license in the state where employed
    • Board certified or eligible by ABPM, ABFM, AOA, or medical board in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice
  • Experience
    • Five to eight years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions
    • Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism
    • Ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies
