Registered Nurse RN NICU Per Diem

About the Role:This per diem position is available in our NICU unit, where you will work closely with our providers and family medicine residents to deliver exceptional care. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that patients receive comprehensive care, and we take pride in our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
- Formulate a plan of care, including the discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family, and health team input.
- Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of the activities of the health care team.
- Evaluate the patient's and family's response to care and teaching, and revise the plan of care as needed.
- Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in the state of practice, or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. BLS certification is required, and additional certification or continuing education may be necessary based on the area of practice.
Preferred Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and professional certification is also preferred. Additional related education and/or experience are also desirable.
