Job Title: Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse

Care Team Solutions is seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Portland, Oregon.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. As a travel nurse with Care Team Solutions, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in a new and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon.
  • Active BLS certification.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
