The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care experience, particularly in the CVICU setting. Advanced skills in PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring are essential, with preferred experience in IABP, Impella, and CRRT.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Travel Nurse RN, you will:
- Provide care to patients immediately following cardiac surgery, including those on ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS.
- Perform essential procedures such as central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations.
- Scheduling Requirements: 2 weekends per month, 1 summer holiday, and 2 winter holidays.
- Floating Policy: Employees may float to other ICUs or floors as needed.
- Dress Code: Required uniform includes scrubs in black, red, or galaxy blue, with scrub jackets/vests only.
- Awards: Recognized as HCA Unit of Distinction and Daisy Award Recipient.
- Additional Information: The CVICU consists of 16 beds with a team of 5 full-time surgeons, specializing in advanced cardiac surgeries and post-operative care.
