Job Title: SIC Millwright

Job Overview: We are seeking skilled Millwrights to join our team for a significant project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams to ascertain work procedures.
• Dismantle machinery using various hand tools including hammers, wrenches, and crowbars.
• Transport machinery and equipment utilizing hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails with hand and power tools.
• Construct machine foundations using hand tools and materials like wood, cement, and steel.
• Align machines and equipment employing hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
• Assemble machinery and secure them to foundations or other structures using hand and power tools.
• Perform repairs and lubrication on machines and equipment.
• Adhere to precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Identify and respond to hazardous conditions or situations.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Be prepared for significant travel as required.
• Carry out additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Complete all safety and general job training as mandated.
• Consistently observe safety and quality processes and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to effectively utilize all required personal protective equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
• Work conditions may include exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather.
• Must be able to safely access all areas of properties, including elevated positions and confined spaces.
• Physical demands are significant and require the ability to perform essential functions safely.
• Capability to operate all necessary equipment and tools safely.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend consistently, and work in awkward positions.
