About the Job: We are seeking a skilled Pipefitting Specialist to join our team at Industrial Trade Services in Goodyear, AZ.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $35 per hour.

About the Role: As a Pipefitting Specialist, you will be responsible for fitting carbon pipe for tig welders. To be successful in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience in pipe fitting.

Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include reading and understanding P&ID's and isometric drawings to determine the scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.

Key Tasks: Some of your key tasks will include layout, fabricating, and installing pipe spools from spool sheets, flame cutting pipe to length and beveling, cleaning and preparing pipe for fit-up, performing layout, rigging, and transportation of pipe, valves, and fittings, threading pipe using threading machines, bending pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machines, planning the sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other workers, properly selecting and using manual, pneumatic, and electric tools according to tasks, hoisting equipment and tools into location via bull rigging or crane, using proper hand signals with heavy equipment operators, loading, transporting, and unloading material, tools, equipment, and supplies, properly testing piping systems for leaks by the correct use of hydro-testing equipment, securing pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers, using hand and power tools, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications and Experience: To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in pipe fitting, preferably in an industrial or petrochemical setting. NCCER certification is a plus. You should also have knowledge of industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures. You may be required to pass a craft test.
