Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Floor Technician to join our team. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping and Cleaning
    • Dust and wet mop floors
    • Strip, wax, and buff floors
    • Shampoo and extract carpets
    • Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and soiled linen
  • Safety and Security
    • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
    • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
    • Report equipment and cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor
  • Customer Service
    • Provide positive and respectful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests
    • Respond to resident requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
    • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
  • Work Environment
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
