As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for administering respiratory care by prescription of the physician, performing diagnostic evaluations, managing patient care, and providing education and rehabilitation services to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies.
Responsibilities- Diagnostics: Obtain and analyze physiological specimens, interpret physiologic data, perform tests and studies of the cardiopulmonary system, and perform neuropsychological studies.
- Patient Care: Manage patient care, including application and monitoring of medical gases, mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, bronchopulmonary hygiene, pharmacological agents related to respiratory care procedures, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and hemodynamic cardiovascular support.
- Salary: The salary range for this position is $37.46-$56.21 per hour.
