We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Senior Associate to become part of the Private Client Services team. This role offers flexible work arrangements, including hybrid and remote options.

Hybrid Work Model: This position can be hybrid based out of designated offices. Hybrid employees are expected to alternate between remote work and office presence. Remote Work Options: This role can also be performed remotely for candidates based outside of specific office locations. Remote employees may need to attend in-person meetings or training sessions at a CohnReznick office with prior notice.

YOUR TEAM:

This position is integral to the Private Client Services practice, focusing on tax solutions for Family Offices and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs). We collaborate with clients to navigate complex financial matters related to their business, personal, and family needs. The ideal candidate will exhibit executive presence, emotional intelligence, and a growth-oriented mindset. They will be enthusiastic about working with client teams, contributing to thought leadership, and participating in webinars and seminars while remaining focused on delivering results for both internal and external clients.

YOUR ROLE:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead specific client engagements
  • Oversee pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
  • Develop budgets and timelines
  • Participate actively in proposal development
  • Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, providing regular coaching and feedback
  • Build respect and trust within the team through effective client management and clear communication

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree; a Master's in Accounting/Taxation is preferred
  • CPA, JD, or EA credentials are preferred
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of tax experience in a public accounting environment
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong tax research and writing capabilities
  • Proficient technical skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with tax compliance and research software
  • Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Salary Information: In California, the salary range for Tax Senior Associates is $75,000 - $120,000. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. This salary is part of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes performance bonuses, generous paid time off, inclusive parental benefits, and access to premier learning and development platforms.
