Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients, under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. This includes administering medications, performing complex nursing activities, and participating in emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing nursing procedures.
- Assist in health teaching for patients and families.
- Participate in team meetings and share knowledge, information, and ideas with team members.
- Prepare and record medications in accordance with policy.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- LPN license required.
- BLS within 1 month of hire.
- Must maintain a valid, current driver's license.
- 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency with computers.
- Knowledgeable regarding medication administration.
- Comprehensive nursing skills.
