We are seeking a skilled Countertop Fabricator to join our team at Midwest Marble & Granite. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various countertop materials, including granite, marble, quartz, and other natural or engineered stone surfaces.

• Interpret and follow detailed paperwork, drawings, and specifications to fabricate countertops to exact measurements and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and equipment, such as saws, routers, polishers, and CNC machines.
• Shape, fill, and polish countertop materials using appropriate tools and techniques to achieve desired finishes.
• Perform edge profiling, polishing, and other fabrication tasks with precision and accuracy.
• Inspect finished countertops to ensure they meet quality standards for aesthetics, dimensions, and functionality.
• Safely handle and transport heavy countertop slabs and materials within the fabrication facility.
• Collaborate with team members, sales, installers, and project managers to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

• Proven experience as a Countertop Fabricator or similar role in the stone fabrication industry.
• Proficiency in cutting, grinding, and polishing stone countertops.
• Strong understanding of countertop materials and their unique characteristics.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements, drawings, and job orders accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship with the ability to produce high-quality work.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and maneuver heavy countertop slabs and materials.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures in a fabrication environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
