Sawmill Laborer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sawmill Laborer to join our team at Western Forest Products US LLC.

About the Role

• As a Sawmill Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including operating machinery, lifting heavy materials, and maintaining a safe and clean work area.
• You will work closely with our team to ensure the efficient production of high-quality wood products.
• Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks, including operating machinery, lifting heavy materials, and maintaining a safe and clean work area.
• Support other areas of the operations as needed.
• Work effectively in a team environment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality wood products.

Requirements

• Labor experience is an asset but not required.
• Steady work history, including a good attendance record.
• Positive attitude, ready to learn, and a safety mindset.
• Physically fit and able to stand for 10+ hour shifts, perform repetitive tasks, and heavy lifting.
• Basic math skills and effectively read, write, and communicate in English.

Shifts

6:00am - 4:30pm (must be available to work a variety of 4 x 10 hour shifts, Mondays - Saturdays, and occasional Sundays).

Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment and random drug testing as well as background checks.
