We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at El Camino Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide friendly and efficient pharmacy care to all customers, engaging with patients and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Pharmacist, and other supervisors, including maintaining pharmacy workflow, utilizing pharmacy systems, and ensuring accurate prescription processing.
- Support the implementation of business solutions and clinical services, such as the Meds to Bed program and Emergency Department pharmacy services.
- Register all related sales on assigned cash register, collect payments, and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and results as needed.
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum 1 year current community pharmacy experience, or completion of an externship at El Camino Health.
- Current ACTIVE California Pharmacy Technician registration.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified technician preferred.
This position will serve all age groups. The Physical Requirements and Working Conditions of this job are available.
