Job Title: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract in Leonardtown, Maryland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work as a Traveling Radiographer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures using radiographic equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex specialized tasks in operating radiographic equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence, and ensuring patient safety.
  • Develop and maintain skills in various clinical systems, including McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, and Teletrak.
  • Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification, maintaining an adequate level of supplies required for patient care.
  • Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer, with a strong understanding of patient safety and precautions.
  • Independent decision-making skills, with the ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to relate positively to residents and families.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance, meet local health regulations, and complete a post-offer health assessment.
  • Physical and sensory requirements, including walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing, and pulling.
Work Experience:

At least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
