As a Licensed Vocational Nurse II at Kaiser Permanente, you will provide high-quality patient care in an acute/outpatient setting, working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver nursing care in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care functions, including administering medications, performing venipuncture, and assisting with special procedures.
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, notifying physicians or healthcare professionals as needed.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, and provide therapeutic care as ordered by physicians.
- Participate in development of nursing care plans, and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, requesting charts, and maintaining department logs.
- Minimum one year of recent experience as a LVN in an acute/outpatient setting.
- Vocational Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification.
