Job Overview
The Club at Cordillera is pleased to present an outstanding career opportunity for a Bartender. Ideal candidates will excel in a hospitality setting and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service within the clubs managed by Troon International.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bar inventory, prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic beverages, and assist in monitoring costs and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensure effective inventory management through diligent oversight of all food and beverage items, promptly communicating with management regarding supply needs.
- Adhere to relevant state liquor regulations and standard operating procedures as outlined by management.
- Relay guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager for timely resolution.
- Execute opening and closing procedures, including inventory checks, cash handling, cleaning, and restocking.
- Handle cash transactions and utilize the Point of Sales System efficiently.
- Review event schedules for updates and prepare for special occasions as necessary.
- Provide service for catered events from designated service or portable bars.
- Occasionally serve meals to guests as required.
- Implement safe work practices throughout job duties.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; one year of bartending experience or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to comply with state regulations for serving alcohol.
Other Qualifications:
Comprehensive knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine selections.
Completion of Alcohol Awareness Training.
