About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sign Fabrication Specialist to join our team at eTeam. As a key member of our print production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality printed materials and signs for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service - Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including heavy phone and email support to schedule projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Estimation - Estimate projects both large and small, establishing and evolving product pricing.
  • File Preparation and Review - Interpret and process digital files for sign production on a daily basis, breaking down each element for production, reviewing print proofs, and making necessary adjustments to ensure print quality and accuracy.
  • Production and Fabrication - Involved in all aspects of sign and graphics production, including digital printing, vinyl work, routing, and overall sign fabrication.
Requirements
  • Print Production Support - Experience in a large format graphics department working with ONYX and Versaworks RIPs, Adobe Acrobat, Color ICC Profiling, color matching, and Sai EnRoute.
  • File Preparation - Experience preparing final artwork files for printing, including file setup, color management, pre-flight checks, and knowledge of industry-standard files such as JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PSD, EPS, AI, INDD, PDF, SVG, RAW, raster, and vector work.
  • Fabrication and Installation Support - Experience assembling signs, including weeding, cutting, trimming, and using power tools to produce high-quality finished products, proficiency in handling and working with various materials such as vinyl, acrylic, metal, wood, and foam board, and skilled in creating and installing dimensional lettering and graphics.
Desired Characteristics
  • Knowledge of Maintenance and Troubleshooting - Knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting of large format printers and ink.
  • Equipment Operation - Ability to operate all equipment in the shop, including large format printers, CNC router, vinyl cutter/plotter, laminator, etc.
  • Communication Skills - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and print vendors.
  • Creative Flair - Creative flair, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
