Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dangerous Goods Agent to join our team at Federal Express Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and legal handling of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe and compliant handling of dangerous goods and related paperwork
  • Perform spill clean-up procedures to prevent contamination and ensure personnel and equipment safety
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in shipping and safety
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of related experience in shipping, safety, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages with assistance
  • Strong knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • AM Shift experience (6:45 AM - 9:45 AM, Tuesday - Saturday)
  • Current DG certification
  • Valid driver's license (if required to drive company vehicles)
