Job Title: Problem Solver Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Problem Solver Consultant to join our team at Technical Assent. As a Problem Solver Consultant, you will work as part of an innovative team to research, prepare, and deliver high-quality solutions for our Federal government clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interacting with stakeholders to understand project needs, collect and synthesize data, and customize solutions
  • Developing a deep understanding of what the client is trying to accomplish and create strategies to solve multiple dimensions of a business problem
  • Creating client-ready deliverables with oversight including insights reports, toolkits, resources, and other project related client facing content
  • Developing quantitative and qualitative data collection tools and conduct data collection and data analysis
  • Scheduling, participating in, and taking notes in client facing meetings with key stakeholders and project executives
  • Collaborating with teammates to produce and present innovative solutions
  • Independently managing time to complete assigned tasks as part of the larger client engagement
  • Adhere to customer and agency's standards and checklists for 508 remediation services
  • Validate front-end features for 508 remediation against Microsoft Office Suite and Web Accessibility standards, including test development, administration, outcome evaluation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public policy, economics, political science, communications, planning, technology and policy, math, statistics, engineering, physical science, or related discipline
  • 4+ years of relevant, professional experience
  • Knowledge of Human-Centered Design/Design Thinking, employee experience, customer experience, and/or service design
  • Two to five years of relevant work experience in accessibility testing and remediation on documents and web content to include but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Web Courses
  • Thorough understanding of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and WCAGG 2.0
  • Proficient use of accessibility testing tools /interfaces such as JAWS and Color Contrast Analyzer
  • Experience troubleshooting and providing Section 508 remediation services for MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat documents
  • Curious and open-minded approach to work
  • Thrive in a continuous Build-Measure-Learn cycle
  • Engage with technology-with comfort and ease (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Monday, Slack, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Human-Centered Design, design thinking, and/or service design background
  • DHS Trusted Tester certification
  • Experience consulting for the Federal government

Job Location and Travel Expectations:

This position is remote. Some travel (Some meetings will be conducted on-site with customers in Washington, D.C.)
