About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team at State Farm. As a key member of our in-house counsel practice, you will play a critical role in defending our customers in insurance-related disputes.

Responsibilities
  • Defend our customers in insurance-related lawsuits, leveraging your expertise in insurance law and trial advocacy.
  • Manage a caseload independently, from answer to trial, while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies for defending our customers' interests.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance law and regulations, applying your knowledge to inform our defense strategies.
Requirements
  • Active license to practice law in Texas and membership in good standing with the bar.
  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong automation and technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
