We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Therapist II to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing professional therapy services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each consumer.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
• Implement evidence-based therapies to improve functional abilities and promote independence.
• Supervise and train staff to ensure high-quality care and services.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality enhancement activities to continuously improve services.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of consumer progress and treatment plans.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Current licensure as a Registered Therapist in the state of Texas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
