Nurse Practitioner

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supervising nursing staff to ensure effective coordination of care with ancillary staff and communication with physicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and relevant experience in nursing, with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the medical team
Implement and supervise nursing care in patient care units, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, utilizing the electronic medical record system
Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge of medications, treatments, and best practices
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program
Current licensure as a registered nurse in Iowa or meeting multi-state licensure requirements
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with TNCC required for Emergency Department roles
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
