Job Summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled Millwright Journeyman to join our team. As a Millwright at Brown & Root, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Assembly: Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in various establishments.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Assemble machines and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures using hand tools and power tools.
  • Equipment Installation: Assemble and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails, using cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Dismantling and Alignment: Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools, and align machines and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layout plans, and other technical documents.
  • Physical stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Attention to detail: Ability to ensure accurate installation and assembly of equipment.
