Position Overview:

As a Gaming Surveillance Specialist, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity of gaming operations while ensuring the safety of all guests, employees, and company assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Encourage a culture that embodies Bally's commitment to entertainment by fostering a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
  • Actively promote our customer-focused approach, delivering exceptional guest service and nurturing long-lasting relationships.
  • Oversee the activities of Table Games and Electronic Gaming Devices, including Armored Car operations, and monitor all areas where Chips and Vouchers are handled, as well as the Count Room Procedures and non-gaming areas throughout the venue.
  • Execute responsibilities related to the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as outlined in Bally's Chicago Operating Co., LLC System of Internal Controls.
  • Report any irregularities, unusual occurrences, or suspicious activities to the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager, as well as the Director of Surveillance and the Illinois Gaming Board Docksite Supervisor/Agent.
  • Safeguard company assets and uphold the overall integrity of gaming operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.
  • Strong mathematical skills are necessary.
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making capabilities are required.
  • Outstanding customer and employee relations skills are essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to distinguish colors is frequently necessary.
  • Occasionally required to work at heights exceeding 10 feet.
  • Frequently required to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Regularly required to reach overhead.
  • Occasionally required to work in confined spaces for extended durations.
Work Environment:

This position may expose you to bright lights, loud noises, and high-pressure situations.
