About the Role:


AJM Packaging Corporation, a prominent manufacturer of paper products such as plates, cups, bowls, and bags, is looking for skilled Forklift Operators to contribute to our operations.

This role involves the operation of an industrial truck equipped with a forklift to efficiently unload, push, pull, lift, stack, move, and stage various products and materials.


Compensation:
$17 to $19 per hour to start, with a performance review and potential raise of up to $1 after 90 days.

Additionally, earn $0.50 per hour for each successful referral to AJM, with no cap on the number of referrals.

Available Shifts (Full Time – 40 hours):
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM

3rd Shift: 11:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe work environment.

Safely operate forklifts and other machinery to perform tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, and staging products.

Collaborate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to achieve operational goals.

Organize cartons on pallets considering size, weight, and height.

Load trucks while considering cubic weight and product characteristics.

Work efficiently with minimal supervision on tasks like receiving and picking products.

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work area.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Must be at least eighteen years of age.

Minimum of 1 year experience operating a sit-down forklift is required.
