About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to a teenager with low acuity needs in a home setting.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care and conduct patient assessments and coordination of care.
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies, and maintain compliant and timely documentation of care provided.
  • Provide health promotion, teaching, and training to family members, and accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required.
  • Follow up with the physician, client, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and/or changes in client condition.
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice.
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation.
