About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Engage Search, LLC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced real estate industry environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Operations: Manage and maintain day-to-day accounting operational needs, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, expense management, and vendor management.
  • Closing Procedures: Assist with all monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including account reconciliations, accrual schedules, and journal entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Record all financial transactions accurately and in compliance with GAAP, and regularly monitor and report cash and funding balances to management.
  • Expense Management: Coordinate and propose general and administrative expense payment selections.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Review bank activity and reconciliations within assigned verticals.
  • Employee Expense Reports: Process and maintain employee expense reports.
  • Inter-Company Transactions: Review and post inter-company/related party transactions.
  • Debt Service Schedules: Maintain all entity debt service and commitment schedules.
  • Monthly Draw Requests: Assist with monthly draw requests, submit to lenders, and process vendor payments.
  • Loan Applications: Contribute to loan applications by providing financial insights.
  • Financial Performance Monitoring: Alert managers to variances and trends in financial performance that require attention.
  • Process Improvements: Suggest and implement process & systems improvements to drive efficiency, best practices, and automation.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate in developing and maintaining operational budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • CPA Firm Requests: Track CPA firm requests and provide client documentation.
  • Tax Returns: Verify closing documents for tax entities and prepare local tax returns.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Perform other ad-hoc reporting and projects as determined by financial management.

The estimated salary for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
