  • Prepare fee proposals and additional service agreements, and negotiate contracts.
  • Work alongside design leaders and other disciplines to establish project budgets.
  • Ensure the financial success of projects.
  • Align Cushing Terrell's billing processes with client accounting requirements, considering both timing and format.
  • Provide expert guidance on project workflows and facilitate effective communication among teams.
  • Highlight potential services that Cushing Terrell can offer to clients.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee project timelines.
  • Take charge of the overall process, including budget management, scope definition, and timing, while maintaining communication with the entire design team.
  • Regularly evaluate client objectives and ensure the team delivers projects that align with those goals.
  • Collaborate closely with design leaders and teams.
  • Strategically allocate team resources and adjust as necessary.
  • Plan, communicate, and execute project deliverables and milestones with the team.
  • Make comprehensive design decisions by involving the appropriate team members early in the process.
  • Schedule regular project reviews with the Principal in Charge.
  • Oversee the QA/QC process from inception to completion, including quality management, investigation, research, and follow-up.
  • Manage project closeout and conduct project reviews to capture lessons learned.
  • May have supervisory duties, including training, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance, rewarding, and addressing team member concerns. Carry out these supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with both external and internal clients.
  • Identify and pursue market opportunities.
*Typically, this role involves working in an office environment with limited physical demands. Occasionally, site visits may be required for verification and surveys.

Compensation

The salary for this position varies based on location. Candidates from outside the specified regions are still encouraged to apply, as salary ranges may differ across various markets.
  • Expected Range*: $80,000 to $125,000 annually
  • This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
*The actual salary offered will depend on various factors, including years of experience, licensure status, location, and other job-related considerations (as permitted by law).
