Job SummaryThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers high-quality patient care within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses. The LPN is responsible for tasks, activities, and functions delegated by the HSA, DON, RN, or Medical Director or other practitioner.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide monitoring of patients as directed by medical staff.
- Implement nursing care within the LPN's scope of practice, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing teaching plans tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on health promotion, maintenance, and restoration.
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A graduate degree from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Active licensure as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
- Possession of an active CPR certification.
- Ongoing knowledge of specific state laws and regulations governing practice.
