Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Merchandising Supervisor to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandising and Operations: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by ensuring merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded. Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment and maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, monitor productivity, and coach as necessary. Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
  • Customer Service: Role model exceptional customer service by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
  • Communication: Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and provide progress updates.
Requirements
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and responding appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to train others.
  • 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
