We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Float Pool team at Prime Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients in various units across the hospital.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care services, utilizing clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), to maintain patient safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience.
- Participate in patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of quality, compassion, and community.
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum one year experience in acute care nursing preferred.
- IV certification upon hire (state specific).
- Current ACLS (AHA or ARC) certificate preferred or within 60 days of hire.
