Henry Ford Health System is a leading academic medical center seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team.

About the Role:

This is a key position that plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our ICU. As a critical care nurse practitioner, you will assess, diagnose, treat, educate, consult, and coordinate care for critically ill patients and their families.

You will work collaboratively with intensivist physicians, attending physicians, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in nursing or equivalent certification and current certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner.

We offer competitive compensation, including an estimated salary of $123,000 per year, based on experience. Benefits include tuition assistance, family forming benefits, discounts, and more. Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, educate, consult, and coordinate care for critically ill patients and their families
  • Collaborate with intensivist physicians, attending physicians, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Perform procedures based on credentialing, training, and experience
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nursing or equivalent certification
  • Current certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse or Michigan licensure and continued certification by the National Commission of Certification Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
  • Current ACLS/BLS and ATLS/PALS certifications as required
