  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to exceptional customer service, ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all patrons.
  • Approaches every customer with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of products and services offered.
  • Stays informed about current promotions and sales.
  • Organizes and replenishes merchandise on shelves and displays when not engaged in checkout duties.
  • Delivers a memorable experience for each customer by assisting them in their purchasing decisions through: identifying and assessing customer needs, making tailored product recommendations, and promoting various programs such as membership and in-store services.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum educational requirement: High School diploma or equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Proficient in calculating discounts and handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with customers and team members.
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with management, colleagues, and customers.
  • Familiarity with operating computerized Point of Sale systems.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Not applicable.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Occasionally required to climb ladders or stairs.
  • Constantly engage in communication with others to exchange information.
  • Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers are required.
  • May need to work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

  • Executes tasks under general supervision, utilizing established procedures while also applying innovative solutions. Occasionally makes independent decisions to resolve issues and recommends improvements to work processes.
