Key Responsibilities- Assist Registered Nurses in providing care to patients, utilizing the Nursing Process to ensure effective therapeutic care.
- Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain and record vital signs and medication lists, and monitor patient flow to ensure efficient care delivery.
- Perform EKGs, prepare patient charts, and administer medication as directed by physicians.
- Schedule diagnostic tests and perform administrative duties, including answering phone calls and receiving faxes.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe environment in accordance with standards and regulations.
- Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing Program
- Valid California Vocational Nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) certification
- 2 years of experience in a surgical care, acute care, or ambulatory care setting
- LVN - Intravenous Therapy Certification (CA DCA)
